Great medical plan, 401(k), PTO
In general Monster has good benefits, but this year (2018) they have provided less. More co-pay for reduced benefits. It's part of a cost-savings plan that the company is implementing.
Monster offers great benefits from the first day of your first full month. Health, Vision, Dental, 401k match upto 6%. 21 paid PTO days first year as well as 8 paid holidays.
Not good have to be at Monster 4 years to get the Co’s 401k match when there are layoffs. Health insurance co. only pays 20%; employee pays 80%. No concern for hardworking employees.
OK, benefits.. Gets more expensive every year.. Should codify work from home policy
Best was that we had a benefits fair every year. Worst is that the package got worse over time.
Prices go up each year . 401k you have to stay 4 years to get all the matched money so the match is a gimmick since no one entering Monster at this time will stay 4 years. It's a horror show.
3 weeks PTO (all rolls over in CA). Great 401k. Medical could be better. Wish they paid for commute.
Best: Flexible about working from home Worst: Rising costs of healthcare benefits
ability to WFH up to manager; good PTO benefits, Medical Insurance below average
