16 weeks for primary parent, but handled through 3rd party and its v confusing
16 weeks parental leave for primary caregivers (men or women), 4 weeks for non-primary caregivers. As a man, I took the 16 weeks no problem when my baby was born. Just had to sign a piece of paper stating I was the primary caregiver.
You have to have worked 26 weeks before eligible to take 10 weeks in 2019. Its bumping up to 12 weeks in 2021. Again, significantly, below industry standard. This firm either doesn't have enough women in leadership or doesn't like women, period.
