Their health insurance isn't very good at all, you can find better at other firms.

  • 401K Plan(7 comments)

Worst: Doesn't vest until your 6th year and they only contribute 10 cents on the dollar up to 1000 Best: They even have a 401k have

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off(7 comments)

PTO accrues very slowly, you’ll be there well over a year before being able to take a week off. The offices are also not closed on all holidays.

Reasonable prices and lots of options

In a time when every company offers work from home opportunities, Morgan & Morgan refuses to. PTO is accrued more slowly than any other place I’ve worked and there are no sick days for the vast amount of employees. Offices are poorly supplied and requesting even the most basic needs (pens, exhibit stickers, background checks) are met with push back.

Comprehensive insurance options, but small 401k matching.

They try to be a modern startup environment but their PTO and vacation policies are more like conservative.

It seems partners are much more flexible with associates who have kids than with those who don’t. If it’s okay for my colleague with a kid to leave at 5 pm and log on later, why isn’t that the same for me (no kids)? My obligations might be different, but I still have a life and want to be able to do certain things, like catch that evening workout class or cook dinner for my partner. As you can probably tell, my firm is operating 100% in person. There is no point here — I’m just whining.
