I'm part time and unfortunately do not qualify for the benefits package.
Great tips. Especially during convention season.
They offered everything for a serving job. It was impressive.

Morton's used to be a great company to work for, then came Landry's. Health insurance became expensive and less options were available. Many employees looked elsewhere for better health care rates and coverage. Morton's employees had to start paying a monthly fee for eating the family meal or even drinking sodas and coffee. So if you didn't pay, then you had to bring your own food and drinks for the shift. Although the monthly fee did allow Landry's employees discounted rates at all their hotels and restaurants. The vacation time disappeared. Employees had to work something like 40hrs a week to even get vacation hrs. If not, then you didn't qualify. Everyone had to start working holidays (except Xmas). Maybe everyone was privileged in not working holidays before. But not anymore. Thank you Landry's.
