Employer Summary

The thing is we are pretty awesome and humble. We are all about loving our jobs, helping people invest, and doing things our way. We get a lot of recognition for having a great culture. People tend to join the Fool for life. Like any great company, our culture starts with the Gardner brothers, who are two of the best people you will meet in life.

“Employee coverage is practically free. Family coverage expense much better than average”

“No place is more flexible about when, where an how you work. There has been a significant investment in tech at HQ to support remote workers”

Incredible work from home policy, health insurance, understanding upper management makes it a desirable employer for parents in particular. Awesome fully stocked kitchen and health & wellness benefits, too.

The flexibility allowed in the schedule and the focus on overall health and wellness really made an impact to me.

There are a lot of benefits, but my personal favorites are: unlimited paid leave, very highly subsidized health plan, flexible work hours, ability to work from home, ability to purchase stock in the company, company-organized and sponsored social events, casual work attire, giving (not loaning!) you some money when you start at the company to invest in stocks, and Fool's Errand (a monthly lottery where one Fool is given some money and sent on holiday for two weeks). In fact, getting your head around all the benefits you're eligible for is one of the steeper learning curves in your first few days at the company.

Working at The Fool comes with many great benefits but the best thing really is the culture

Unlimited time off is awesome, if you can take it, which sometimes is difficult with some roles, while others seem to take at least a month a year. Our health insurance is awesome and deductibles are low. Offer a health and daycare FSA and 401(k) you can participate in, monthly pizza and birthday treat days and perks like on site manicures and haircuts.

The Motley Fool is a lifestyle choice in some ways -- the benefits at the company are outstanding. So much so that it requires a particular type of employee to understand exactly how to use them.

There are an incredible number of perks that employees have access to.

Definitely one of the best benefits packages I've seen in this area. Unlimited PTO along with the amazing healthcare plan are things you don't find just anywhere!

Motley Fool has wonderful benefits. Unlimited vacation shows trust in the employees that really speaks to the culture of the company. Parental leave is very strong, knowing there is more to life than work. They also take care of a lot of little small stuff really well. Snacks around the office, a dedicated people team, sponsored fitness programs, in building yoga, bookie monster, I could go on. There are a few things that could be improved. The health insurance does not provide free birth control it is also not the cheapest I have seen for group coverage. The salaries usually are under market rates because these benefits are available and I believe some people would rather get paid more than have these benefits. Competitors who pay more are also adding these perks to their compensation packages. Minor gripes aside, this company treats it's employees better than any I have ever worked for and they are constantly trying to make things better.
