    I couldn't use it all every year, they offered such a generous package once you hit 3 years. Unfortunately we were always so short handed/staffed that it was difficult to take time off without it impacting the bottom line.

    The PTO plan was recently changed so that it is no longer tracked. The idea is that you can take whatever vacation time you want as long as you talk it over with your manager and they agree. However, this tends to make it more difficult to take any kind of extended vacation (more than a week) in mt opinion, as you don't want it to seem like you'e slacking.
