Great benefits even better on site
Health insurance is not very good for working at a hospital
Most employees start with 19 or 24 PTO days. However, that includes sick days and holidays. Yes, holidays are taken out of PTO bank. Even days that we couldn’t come in to work due to Hurricane Warning were deducted from PTO. Full-time and part time are deducted the same amount for medical benefits. Medical benefit deductions are expensive and don’t cover much. 75% of 403b employee contribution is matched after 90 days of employment. They do have child care on site for “reasonable “ rate but that’s appealing to a small group.
I worked at MSMC as a per diem and the pay was very competitive. The admin attentive and accommodating and appreciative of their employees
The primary care doctors are on site at the hospital. Full physical annually. Nicotine free campus tested with urine sample. Employee parking
Good health insurance (UHC) Terrible PTO/Sick Day/ Holiday benefits
health insurance starts after a month of employment. 403 (b) match contribution starts after one year of employment
There is a good benefit package with reasonably priced health insurance. 403b offered, with $0.50 on the $1.00 matching up to 6% of salary
Decent preventive insurance as long as you are healthy, no holidays are paid unless you have PTO, standard benefits.
