They give you your full vacation balance the day that you start. If you start December 1st and you position is allowed 2 weeks vacation for the first year, you get that vacation to use right then.

Best perk is the insurance price, it is comprehensive coverage that (if you go through the optional workplace health assessment) costs about $50 per month for an individual. While the vacation policy is standard for the industry, it can become difficult to use vacation time due to workload. 401k is a standard Fidelity, though leaves much to be desired as far as the stock picks go - there is no broad market ETF available, and you get stuck with fees. The company match is quite nice, and better than the industry standard. Educational and professional development benefits are virtually nonexistent.

Free visits/many prescriptions at the on-site company clinic. Otherwise average benefits package. Vacation time offered pretty standard, though many people wind up coming in anyway on their vacation days, or have their vacation approvals revoked last minute due to pressing problems
