Standard healthcare, retirement plans that you would find at any company. Vacation is accrued and is also used for sick time, so you start with nothing, which is fine if you don't get sick.
Health care coverage is really good. 401k not so good
I have pay in leiu of benefits, it great because, as a float, i can make my own scheduled, work or not work as many hours as i can or want to, however the draw back to this type of pay is no PTO time or health benefits. I have VA so i'm covered and i don't have a life so this works for me. Best thing is that you can choose what works for you benefits wise.
You'd think working for an actual health care system they benefits would be excellent. They sell it like it is but when it comes down to the nitty gritty unless your a union member DO NOT pay for the benefits.
