“Out of pocket expenses have risen over the years but overall a decent comprehensive plan. ”
“Base company holidays, sick days, plus additional PTOs depending on years worked. ”
great benefits for a startup
Great perks and company benefits. Including insurance and retirement options, amenities, and etc.
Standard insurance plans and coverage, but employer picks up a majority of the premium. If you select the HSA plan and only cover yourself you pay no premium at all!
Very competitive benefits package that includes full health and dental, 401K match if qualified, monthly fitness stipend, monthly commute stipend, as well as revenue profit sharing. Fully stocked kitchen, lots of social events, great downtown location.
Cheap health insurance for employee
Bare minimum 401k Matching. $30/month on gym and transportation. No catered lunch. Healthcare kinda sucks.
they have it because it is legally mandatory, but would prefer not to spend money on it
Health care is probably perfectly adequate for someone young, fairly healthy and with no family. And, they pay a decent percentage of it. For those with a family or any health issues at all, the insurance (and especially the prescription plan) is just horrid. We have a $5K deductible per person and both my child and myself NEARLY met it this year. Vacation is stingy. Like really stingy. There is always plenty of food, snack and drink to be had; plenty of company parties and celebrations with free booze, which is great for a certain crowd.
Good things: 401k with a match, work from home, work life balance, week between xmas/new year is PTO company wide
A 401K match was finally added this year, so that's a perk. 12 days per year of vacation is pretty light for the industry, but at least the company closes for a week during the holiday season. Ironically there is no mobile phone reimbursement for this "mobile" company.
