Could offer more PTO or vacation time for new employees.
You start off with two and a half weeks vacation and thirty hours of sick days. Plus you can buy more time off if you want.
Vacation time is pretty basic compared to other companies. Paid time off could be more progressive and competitive with offers other companies have.
PTO program, accumulate time as you go. Able to bank time you don't use.
Not enough vacation for employees with less than 5-10 years.
Adequate but not generous. 5 days off immediately at New Year and earn 2 more weeks through year.
Very generous PTO and vacation time
Mutual of Omaha starts you off with the opportunity to accumulate up to 136 hours a year. If you work hourly, it can be difficult to take off time since you have to coordinate with other co-workers. If you are salaried, it's much easier to take off time. Only way they could improve it is offer unlimited vacation.
I was very happy with the amount of Paid Time Off. I am a first year associate, and it increases every year.
