Great benefits but difficult to reach monthly goal
Cheap copays. But other than that, MyEyeDr is the worst.
Medical benefits are crazy expensive for a family. Not great coverage, The employee discount was awesome if you need glasses or contacts.
Full benefits health, dental and of course vision
You pay a good amount of money towards benefits and unless you are getting just regular check ups you are paying good money out of pocket. I wish I had declined insurance and just kept the extra money.
There are actually a few medical plans to choose from, this is helpful to have the options that work well for individual needs. Plus the fact that this is optometry so we don't have to pay for a separate vision insurance, we have a discount plan through the company.
They offer a full benefits package, but do nothing to help you navigate through them as to what you need. They only have one good health insurance and it's for MD/VA employees only, but that wasn't stated anywhere so I chose it, to find out later I can't use it. It then took them forever to get it switched to the high deductible HSA, but then they never put the money they're supposed to in it or let me alter my paycheck to contribute to it. I was told I'd have to wait until open enrollment, even though the blunder was on they're end.
High deductible medical insurance for individual and family plans.
A new associate receives a free pair of glasses after 90 days! Also, associates get a yearly allowance. I personally think the discount program is great!
They give us $500 per year towards our HSA account.
