The 401(k) plan is available day 1...no waiting! I can contribute up to 50% of salary and I get matched (at the end of the year). I understand the theory behind end of the year match and support it.
The company used to have a hire match but cut back % in recent years.
Company contribution is paid at end of year. If laid off in the middle, they will not contribute.
Matching must vest for 3 years in order to get anything. Not large enough to be a good incentive to stay; Can't pick individual investments, just a fund based on when you plan to retire. Hasn't grown at all in almost 4 years, other than my contributions.
It was ok but it couldve been improved had they actually talked to employees and figured out what they wanted. Overall, i'd give it a 3/5
Didn't bother with it. Company match so low it was a joke.
A nice match and their plans have pretty low administrative fees.
they keep their match until the next year so if you leave before then you don't get matched
