Great benefits, best I've had
This company provides medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Competitive pay, but unknown bonuses and 401k matching leave a (potentially) large portion of compensation as an unknown.
This review is for the period prior to 2012. I don't know specific numbers, but after three years away from NCsoft I can tell you that I miss the benefits they offered. Low co-pays, low contribution towards medication, everything but the usual dental, was pretty great. In fact, just for comparison, my contributions for all of the mentioned examples is roughly 3 times more than what they were for NCsoft. Oh, the default plan was free with only a "Cadillac" plan requiring a premium paid by the employee.
No paid holiday is awful especially when they make you come in on Christmas.
Training and professional development are left up to the individual - the former being OJT (On the Job Training) and the latter being "on your own time, with your own resources".
Got paid in peanuts, but the benefits were all paid for, so not bad I guess
The full insurance premiums were paid by the employer.
Free health insurance with great coverage. There is a buy-up plan that offers lower deductibles for a small (around $30) payment each pay period.
Minimal to no matching on 401k contributions.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
