Health insurance is required for both spouses if both are working here. Also if spouse works at another company your can't carry your spouse if insurance is offered by other workplace
There wasn't anything stellar about the benefits package. It did not cover mental health care, which I found odd since they promote health and well-being. You'd think mental well-being would be at the top of the list
They have taken away all vacation replacing it with PTO which they do not pay out if you leave. Bonuses are a joke, health insurance premiums are based on participation in a third party health watch dog group. If you're overweight or not healthy by this company's rules you lose your discount. It's made the long term employees leave en mass.
I was not involved in the benefit package being an intern position. Seemed like salaried people took off when they wanted, it was a lot different for factory workers
Very minimal benefits package and out-of-pocket / co-pay seem extremely high.
blue cross blue shield off brand plan, co pay was reasonable unless you needed dermi or a specialist then is was pricey. Dental was ok, just cost $25~$30 for cleaning which was a little high.
Best, rates are not going up to fast. Worst, small dental network.
401k is fine. insurance is adequate, high copays. vacation policy has changed for the worst. Profit sharing is iffy. Company making record profits with not much passed along.
What benefits? Nothing left anymore since she came on board. Benefits "used" to be one of the attractive perks to work for this company, but not anymore. Spiraling downhill VERY fast. Don't believe the positive comments about this company, they are NOT true and are written by her staff to make Nibco sound good. They are self insured, and if you use insurance too much you will be fired for some made up reason. Sadly it's really true.
