NICE inContact needs to fix PTO/ATO either by rolling time over or removing it and creating a flexible time off program. The current program is a "use it or lose it" basis and creates a situation where critical SMEs are taking almost the entire month of Dec off every year.

16 days pto, 2 floating days, 8 full holidays. after 3 years I think you get an extra 4 days pto which is great.

No rollover. I hated that it ended at the end of every year cause you knew half the office would be out in December.

From previous experience they are above average on time off.

For the amount of hours we put in seemed like you couldn't take it, or if you didn't you couldn't carry over. If you are in sales you end up working thru some of your days off because you never stop with your deals if you want to get paid.

3 weeks PTO to start is generous by U.S. standards.

The amount of PTO isn't my complaint, but how it's issued is. They are on an annual system, not an accrual over time system. And, you can't carry it over to the next year if you don't use it so it's a use it or lose it policy. This is sold to us as a "we want you to have work live balance" but I don't agree. And, if I leave, I don't get my PTO paid out to me. However, the amount of PTO is good - 3 weeks for new employees (it's pro-rated if you start somewhere throughout the year e.g. if you start on July 1st you'll get half of the annual amount.

Each employee receives 18 paid days off at the beginning of the year, which can be used as necessary for sick days, vacations, or any use the employee wishes. There are 9 observed company-paid holidays in addition to the initial pool of 18 paid days off.
