NMS was a good company to work for - like working in a family business.
As a long-term contract employee, I was offered health/dental/vision/401k/flexible spending account. I insured myself and one child. I've had better and have seen worse. I felt that the cost and benefits received were fairly standard and was happy with them. Then Obamacare happened and price went up while benefits went down. I give NMS credit, because they built in some add-on services such as medical help by phone to help offset the lost coverages. I rarely used my medical. Colleagues who were heavy users always called around for best price on services and Prequalified with carrier before setting the appointment for tests and such.
Marriott room discounts, 401k (no match), PTO, Floating Holidays, Bereavment Leave, paid education
