The Medical, Dental, Vision plans are fine but do understand just like everywhere, they are high deductible plans. Other benefits are there like free bikes, great gym, showers, first floor cafeteria, plenty of parking, quiet rooms, access to great walks and close to malls.
NRG offers EAP, 401k, ESPP, annual bonus/raises, insurance, and vacation based on how many years you've been employed
Best things are vacation, 401K, Stock, and Health Benefits
Health - has and copay. 401k 5 percent. 22 PTO per year from the beginning
PTO accrual is great, so is the holiday schedule (all major holidays), 401k matching good too. Health insurance stinks, unless you have a wad of cash lying around somewhere to throw at doctors, because you will spend thousands before the “insurance” will spend a penny. This year they raised both the premiums AND the OOP max on the cost-driven health plan (let’s face it, they say “consumer driven” but we all know that’s a lie).
Good 401K contribution, above average PTO accumulation, and good medical, dental, and HSA
Overall, benefits are comparable to the industry.
The benefits package is really good and the cost is relatively low even compared with state agencies.
Vacation time is really generous
Benefits are decent less the elimination of the NRG supplementary 401K contribution that was eliminated as part of budget cuts in the recent years.
