The PTO is generous, and rewards workers on length of time at NSF, not just by position.
Family leave / Maternity leave is basically non-existent. Bare minimum as you have to take FMLA and then lose all of your PTO. Health benefit package has also subsequently gotten worse as well.
Benefits are marginal at best and and they keep cutting them as they continue to put profits over people
Health benefits are affordable but horrible leave of absence policy
no paid maternity or paternity leave, PTO below industry average, bonuses far below industry average
Insurance was ok. For woman looking to start a family, a nightmare. The politics behind FMLA, and the penalty in PTO they force them to pay is appalling.
The benefits they offered were pretty good.
Benefits and mission are great
Standard 401k match, normal paid holidays, PTO is generous, health insurance options/costs not as good as they used to be (but nobody's are), but still better than average.
The healthy living health insurance option seems affordable so far. The 401k price match is lousy, capping at 6%. Benefits, such as the price match and tuition assistance, don't start until 1 year of employment. Employees are required to commit 2.5 years after graduation to NSF in order to receive tuition assistance. No sick days, and no PTO time at hire.
