NVIDIA works hard to deliver a comprehensive benefits package. We provide not only the basics - health care coverage, life and disability protection, pre-tax savings opportunities, etc. -- but we also offer many extras that you may not find at other employers. What really sets the NVIDIA benefits program apart is our willingness to listen to employee suggestions, try new things, and go above and beyond the norm to see how we can best support our employees -- and their family members -- as they strive to balance their personal and professional lives.
NVIDIA has an awesome benefit that lets one convert post Tax 401k contributions to Roth IRA (in or out of plan) while still being employed at NVIDIA. One can stash up to 32k in a given year to max out the IRS limit of 56k (NVIDIA contributes 4k) that can grow tax free.
401(k) matching needs to be in-line with other companies, where the employer matching is %-based rather than a flat $-based. Unlimited PTO is the best benefit that NVIDIA has.
Good health insurance options for employee and family. Some discounts on refurbished Nvidia products, but its not good enough.
Best: Dental plan. Worst: Education. Onsite health care requires appointment - not really useful. IVF coverage is meager. $10K adoption assistance. For items that I am unsure about in this questionnaire, I marked unsure as I either do not know or it may depend on your particular manager. Directors and above have more benefits (financial and otherwise) than do Sr. Managers and below.
Variety of options for medical insurance
The salaries are generally higher instead of incentivizing employees with bonuses, etc. Unlimited PTO. Pretty small 401k max ($4000). No employee discount, but a reasonable amount of freebies and $100 in free Nvidia Gear credits a year. Great ESPP program. Phone stipend, commuter stipend, and a few other misc. benefits. No free lunch, but highly discounted with $5 off dinner.
ESPP is the best as the stock has performed well in the last few years.
Great health and dental insurance. Great value from ESPPs thanks to the ever growing stock.
1. Great options of health plans to select from. 2. Great maternity leave options. 3. On-site clinic. 4. Subsidized lunch and dinner. 5. Pets allowed at work. 6. Stock options. 7. Good 401k company contribution. 8. Free fitness classes with instructor.
Best: Employee stock purchase program This program lets you buy company stock at a discount at certain times of the year
