    If you make no money they take less money therefore your pension will be low very low

    Very good pension plan provided by NYCERS. I not only do you have money taken out of your paycheck and deposited for your pension you also have the opportunity to take the money out on load without taxes once a year

    NYCERS tier 6 is horrible- poor newbies. Older tiers are great even one option to retire at 57 with full benefits.
