It's a Fellowship program. You get a lot of benefits Once you become a teacher. Fellows get 2,900 for the two month program.
Salary for bachelors is $54,000 and $60,704 for masters. We get Health insurance plans, several of which require no employee contributions. We are enrolled in the Teachers’ Retirement System.
Covers a lot of stuff and affordable. Cons...hard to understand and really hard to figure out. Really have to dig to find info.
There were no benefits. NYC Teaching Fellows only assists with your obtaining an job with the NYC DOE. That said, they should provide higher stipends considering the grueling 7-7 schedule they make you undergo.
