I have been at Winthrop for 18 years, I get 4 weeks vacation and 12 sick days per year. Worst part is that when I leave I will lose all of the sick time that I have accrued
You are limited to how many hours you can carry over from year to year. If you're entitled to a base of 2 weeks vacation, that is all you can carry over. Anything else accrued will be lost.
You get two week vacations a year. Your PTO is controlled and monitored if you have an emergent situation and call in and use to ask it, you can be denied. It can also be considered as an occurrence left to the discrepancy of the Manager in charge that day.
Holidays have been cut down and sick days and vacation days have been capped.
