During my summer internship I was able to do several team events and one where we volunteers to the local food bank.
Strong benefits package one of the best I have ben offered in recent history.
The company does it's best to provide great benefits for the employees, unfortunately since it does not have the large amount of employees to negotiate with rates are rather high. They do offer outside benefits as well with helps make up for the higher medical rates. A good work-home life balance is promoted here
The health insurance is pricey with very high deductible. The nice benefits are $200 yearly for healthy living (I.E gym membership, weight loss, or stop smoking). $100 yearly for organization help (I.E electric planner, pens, post it notes, etc.). They do have a 401K plan they match. The vacation time is pretty fixable and you have paid holidays,
401K, wellness program, paid time off, paid sick time, identity protection program - all great. health insurance is decent, but nothing to brag about.
National Corporate Housing had a wellness benefit where you get $200 to spend on your gym membership or an activity tracker. It wasn't that much really. Their benefits are not so good yet they say it is.
I think the benefits package overall is good in what we get. I don't really focus on all that about what we get if we applied and got hired. But I think what we get is good no matter what.
Overall, this is a great company and I enjoy working there. However, if I were to move on it would be because of the inferior health insurance. The only option are high deductible plans that are very difficult to cover a family on due to the high costs. My advice would be to invest in better insurance in order to better retain top talent as you are almost required to listen to other offers due to the inferior health benefit package.
Standard package. Medical, dental, vision, paid time off and sick time, 401K
National is always looking for creative ways to reduce health care premiums!
