2% of salary maximum match. All the older employees have a much stronger pension plan comparatively.
Non Union employees get a 8% 401K match.. Vanguard with very low fees on the target dates and index funds is a positive. A higher 401K match is offered to OLDER people. (not fair for us millennials that are savers). Also, a 3-year vest period until their 8% match is not removed if you leave the company. Lastly, the union folks get a pension, enough said.
