Good plan offerings without excessively high employee contributions
Their insurance is awesome, however you cannot use any prescription coupons for medications because the coupons are all void upon use with a Federal program (i.e. Federal insurance). Trust me, I've tried many coupons MANY times with no luck.

Health insurance used to be a hallmark of government employment. However, most full-time private sector employers competing for the same talent NSA seeks to recruit offer comparable coverage and, oftentimes, at lower costs. A downside to the health insurance provided by the federal government is that the pool includes a large number of older employees and former employees, which greatly raises the cost of these plans over those offered by other employers.
