401k match and vesting schedule is not competitive. It's only 4% on the first 8% an employee contributes, and it takes 5 years to fully vest.
After 5 years you are fully vested. If you make it that long.
Pension plan is free contribution. And turns into annuity payment at 67
Any company that still offers a pension plan is alright in my book! They automatically put money into an annuity with a living benefit. Even though I am no longer with the company, I know that when I retire, I'll have something coming in from Nationwide.
The retirement planning was hard to follow and mostly confusing. It was not explained well.
Pension and 401k option are competitive in the industry.
