NeoGenomics pays the entire cost for some benefits, others require employee cost-sharing, and some are paid entirely by the employee. To the extent feasible, certain benefits are provided on a tax-favored basis.

All full time employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

    Excellent benefits compared to other companies in the area. This company rewards employees who work hard. They give raises and bonuses. They offer an employee stock purchase plan. Lots of PTO. And the reason you have to use it is because they want you to enjoy your family and your life away from work. Excellent HR Team who cares about employees. The CEO and Executive Team also care about their employees.

    Per the 2018 Handbook: 16 days PTO (4.92 hours per 80 hours), 3 days sick (USE IT OR LOSE IT! Does not roll over from year to year), 6 company holidays and 1 personal floating holiday (Also use it or lose it, every year). 401k matched up to 3% and up to 50% of the next 2%, tuition assistance program, stock ownership options, vision paid in full by Neogenomics, medical, and dental options available. Huge BUT here: for Aliso Viejo anatomical pathology department (imaging, lab tech/assistants, histotechs all rolled together) one 2 people are allowed off per shift, except on weekends, where only 1 per shift. Holidays are not guaranteed off, even if you aren't normally scheduled to work that day anyway. So you need to plan your time off MONTHS in advance. Quite a few people just abuse the sick time off and just call out sick, because the PTO policy is so restrictive/from when the company was half the size prior to the merger.

    PTO leaves much to be desired, only 3 sick days, only 6 holidays, health insurance is costly, no family leave, just got a childcare benefit but it's only so-so, raises are few, no cafeteria, no benefits that a lot of top companies have.

    Poor PTO, poor vacation accrual rate, poor health insurance for families (high deductible, high out of paycheck, high out of pocket max), open all holidays

    Neogenomics does a great job of hosting company events and offering free food and snacks to employees. The vacation time was decent, health insurance was standard. Pay was on the low end and raises were almost non-existent.
