Employer Summary

We can all benefit from a little rest and relaxation. All full-time employees accrue 16 days off during their first year of employment. Each anniversary, the amount of PTO increases until the 5th year, when employees accrue 23 days per year; after 10 years, it's 25 days per year. We even allow you to carry over hours from one year to the next.

PTO Policy is OK at best. The days off per year is decent, but they get under half the amount of holidays i got off at my previous three jobs, so total days off a year is not that great. NeoGenomics needs to either add several company holiday days, or add several PTO days to remain competitive with other companies. It would be nice if the company

5 weeks off for vacation plus 1 week for continuing medical education matches what I have had elsewhere. Since I don't have On Call duties, my weekends are all mine too.

PTO accrual rate is very low. It increases slightly at 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, 5 years, then a gap to 10 years, and no increase after 10 years. I am currently at 3 years, and do not accrue a full day.
