Overall the benefits package offered to employees is very good. Although I haven't had much to compare it to, I will say it's a far better option for us compared to the benefits offered by the large national company my wife works for. No complaints...healthcare is just plain expensive. 401k match and PTO allotment are good-to-above average.
Poor health insurance, otherwise good benefits.
Company that managed 401k had a terrible system and customer service. Was very frustrating to deal with them. And no app
You will be underpaid. The Nerdery is a proving ground for new developers to cut their teeth before they leave to find a "real job". Don't expect to be paid fair market value for your skills. You'll be compensated in free beer, and red bull instead.
In office perks were nice but just a distraction. Benefits became more expensive over time and less was covered. Didn't seem computable to other companies when I made my decision to leave
The 401k is awesome. A very generous company match with immediate vesting. There are very flexible hours depending on the project, and the ability to work from home. The health insurance isn't bad either.
Decent overall benefits package. Nothing horrible, nothing exciting.
Bad Insurance, expensive, basically about what you would get from a fast food restaurant..
It's awesome, Very fair and consistent with other jobs I've seen.
The best benefits of working at The Nerdery is their work life balance. They offer paternity leave for new fathers (currently up-to one week).
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
