Faculty have a natural cycle to their time that follows the quarterly school schedule. This provides decreased pace for a week or two every 10 weeks, but also restricts freedom during the quarter to take vacation or a half day off.
Very minimal. Time off is only 2 weeks unless you work there for several years. Health care is not very good, lots of money out of pocket for employees. Retirement plan is extremely limited.

I liked the 401k, but the health care plan wasn't very good. Poor hospital network. And high monthly payments. No work from home benefits.
Best part are the breaks between quarters when you can either work from home or go on vacations. Worst part is the fairly low 401K match.
