best is time off, get all of your vacation on Jan 1. 4 weeks of vacation to start plus 13 holidays and 12 sick days and 5 education days
Best: large amount of doctors that are available to us, FSA account, discounts on plays and NYC parking, all the time off (its almost excessive... almost), 403b Excellent: their pension plan, annual raises, tuition assistance (especially if you attend a state school) Worst: copay
Due to being such a large employer; the health benefits are very good. The hospital co-pay is 50$, the rest is covered. I did not opt for dental. Vacation time is 20 days.
worst: amount of tuition reimbursement, some doctors in hospital don't take insurance best: coverage of health insurance, retirement plans
Pension plan is very low but at least there is one. Vacation time is 4 weeks, plus 11 day holidays plus a few personal days.
Health care insurance is Expensive, but worth it. Great choice of doctors. Good additional coverage for Life, 403b, long term care, etc.
You get vacation time of 15 days starting, which is great. The health insurance is fantastic, the 401k is good, and you can have a certain amount of unpaid cash taken our of your paycheck for savings.
New employees start out with 3 weeks of vacation. It takes a lot of years to achieve more. The health insurance is very good and there are two options.
The benefits are great. The hospital provides full no cost medical benefits through the union 1199. Dental benefits has some cost but it is still the best I've seen. They also offer pension plans and free schooling through the union. The union also provides all kind of discounts and perks to the employees given by the hospital.
Most employees are unionized and the 1199 benefits are stellar.
