Pretty good benefits overall. The health insurance premiums are a little high compared to my previous employers. Paid leave is average at 3 weeks for starters and an extra week after 10 years. Personally, I think we should get another week after 5 years to be on par with other companies. Overall I do think the benefits are good.

Expensive premiums but the HSA accounts help with expenses.

Florida Power & Light

Att: former employees of NextEra Energy, Inc or Florida Power & Light who used the education assistance benefit. Did anyone receive a letter asking for re-payment for assistance funds even though the one-year timeframe of the benefit was satisfied? The agreement was that if I left within a year of receiving the funds, I would have to pay them back, but it’s been well over a year since my last benefit (before I resigned) and the company is asking me for repayment.
