I work from home and love it!
It really differs across departments. In support, the general rule is that after you've proven yourself to be self sufficient, you can work from home, usually on a biweekly basis. You used to have to wait a year, but now they've gotten a lot more lax. You can also work from home if you're on call that week.
Depends on your team. Pretty flexible.
Best thing about working for Nextgen. They have a great network that is accessible from home.
My manager allowed me to be very flexible with my time working from home. However, I was frequently called to work on the weekends.
