401(k) Plan – Niagara matches a certain percentage of Team Member contributions. The vesting percentage increases with increased years of service. Niagara offers both pre-tax and ROTH options.
Pros... they offer a 401k with a match. Cons...the match is 3% if you contribute 6%. This is below the competitive local rate.
Their match is very low percentage and if you leave before a certain year period you do not receive all your contributions
The maximum match is 2% (1/3 of the first 6% of salary contributed). No match for the first year of employment, five additional years for the match to vest fully.
High vesting time of 6 years with low employer contribution
I feel it is not a good 401k plan.
Nothing good. 1% match and 3 years vesting schedule is a joke
Vesting period is very long
They match and give 1.5 times the matching amount. Thats awesome compared to what others in the industry provide
401K is just normal, max match 6%.
Hourly employees beware. Management expect miracles with very little compensation
