Nielsen used to have a great vacation plan, but switched to "me time" in 2017 which means you can take unlimited time off during the year with your manager's approval. However, the program was designed to lower costs for the company as they continually downsize the company. In essence, it's a way for the company to avoid paying employees for unused vacation if they are severenced out of Nielsen
Unlimited time off - Hard to do with the volume of work however
Unlimited vacation in US has good and bad qualities. Some take advantage and ruin it for others. We're told by management to take "around X days" depending on our role/tenure but the amount isn't bad.
Vacations are pais and anything but, since you have to keep a high performance. You dont really enjoy your vacations thinking about the numbers
2 weeks vacation, paid & certain holidays are paid as well , a few sick days, and a personal day which get increased the longer you work there. they can be split into hours as well so one could leave early as a vacation time use
not really eventful, use it because it is s not included in severance pay
2 weeks vacation in the beginning and as you move forward could get 3 weeks to 4 weeks
