good benefits, comparable to startups
When I was there, there was no 401k match, health benefits were better before HPE acquired them.
Good work balance free food twice one week
The best think about the benefits are all gone since the acquisition of the Nimble by Hpe. Previously, the execs use to take care of the employees really well. Although, there was not 401k contirbution but still there was 15% espp plan, two paid shutdowns in a year and really good medical plans.
Post HPE acquisition the ESPP has gotten much worse. Health, dental, and vision insurance are all much more expensive than when we were Nimble Storage. Still better than some other places that I've worked though.

Company has great time off plans and overall benefits, one of the things I would like to see is a 401(k) match.

The company perks are great. Nimble has well stock break areas with snacks and drinks that are free for all employees. They also have weekly catered lunches on Tuesdays and a Friday Social where you can grab a beer and some snacks to wind down after a long week. The overall benefits package is very competitive compared to other companies
