Employer Summary

Noble provides medical coverage through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, the largest and most experienced health care insurance company in the state. You have the opportunity to choose between four plan options: Blue Advantage HMO, PPO Traditional, and two PPO High Deductible Plans with Health Savings Accounts (HSA). For every plan, Noble covers a major portion of the cost of the premium whether you elect coverage for yourself, yourself and a spouse/partner, yourself and a child or children, or family coverage (you, a spouse/partner, and a child or children). In addition, Noble contributes to your HSA if you elect either of the PPO High Deductible Plans.

    I have an HMO and it's for the most part fine. The PPO is a bit expensive for me but I may take advantage of it in future years since HMO can be limited.

    Best thing is you have a few options. The worst thing is if you select the HMO plan, you will have very limited access to mental health/counseling providers.

    I had blue cross blue shield but you could've picked different ppo/hmo/ and all the other stuff
