Number of days, flexibility to take the vacation based on preference.
A very generous policy once you've been there a number of years. I think it maxes out at 32 days a year once you've been there 15+ years.
Initial vacation time is very generous, but you need to work 10 years to add another week. There are 6 paid holidays and (unlimited) sick days. You are encourage to stay home if you're sick. If you are very sick you may need to invoke short term disability or long term disability).
Best: You can decide when to take your time off Worse: none
Good number of days
normal accrual of paid time off
Lots of inaccurate information - if you are in a US state that mandates leave, you get a pool of paid sick leave or whatever is required. If not, you fall under the existing sick policy which is somewhat generous but can only be used if YOU are sick, not a dependent or spouse. Paid Leave is somewhat generous until you realize Nokia doesn't give many federal holidays - only 7 days vs the 11 days given. Oddly enough, the Friday after Thanksgiving is given off but not Christmas Eve. This is somewhat annoying as many of your overseas colleagues will have entire weeks off during major holidays.
Vacation and paid time is very good
good vacation policy and 10 sick days that is a good policy...but they have less public holidays...only 7
Based on years of employment the vacations days will grow and will max out at 32 for 10 or more years.
