it's adequate, but not great
personal days off accrued monthly, vacation days accrued monthly, sick time automatically 10 days per year.
Time off adds up pretty quickly working at NorthShore
Accrues quickly and you start at a pretty high rate.
PTO and sick time in separate categories, paid holiday, 3 personal days
So far no complaints with the vacations and pto. Usually first come first serve.
There is a a bit of class system when it comes to benefits, such that docs, managers and upper executives get great benefits, and everyone else gets just ok.
Youu only get accumulative vacation and sick time. If you are sick, you only get 6.67 sick days per month so it's not enough to cover one day off. It's very hard to get vacation says off. Everything is done by computer/can't ask boss for time off unless you call off. And if you do,you are disiplined for it.
there is no bad experience with benefits provided
time off is in separate buckets, instead of PTO, which is good
