Vacation time can only be taken as accrued and any sick time comes out of it. This can make it hard your first couple of years. Several smaller companies offered more time off and it was available the beginning of the year. There is a nice break Christmas to New Years.
Lots of flexibility with Paid Time Off usage.
PTO accrual is fair, just wish the work life balance was better.
3wks PTO but will not let you negotiate more PTO during pay/ benefit negotiation
Approx 1 additional week off at the end of the year during plant shutdown. Starting employees get 2 weeks.
NGC utilizes paid time off for vacation and sick time. NGC simply allows employees to take time off as the employee needs without separate accounts for vacation and sick time. I believe that the PTO accrual rate is 5.25 hours per pay period.
It's not the best but one of the top in the market. The company offers 2weeks a year and sick leave as well.
Not so great. If your sick it comes out of your PTO, if you want to go on vacation it comes out of your PTO. Not so great.
They provide very good package of vacation and PTO
This is only so-so if you're in your first five years. You get one pool of PTO to use for both sick days and vacation - 2 weeks. However, all major national holidays are paid, and the week between Christmas and New Years is a paid shutdown week, which is pretty nice.
