The $250 annual wellness benefit per FTE is very nice!
Paid time off seperate from vacation pay. The best part is they do not use your accrued PTO towards holidays. Health insurance is a little pricey but everything is basically covered at 100% after a very small deductible.
The best benefits package I have ever been offered. They cover almost 100% of services rendered by NM providers and with them being such a big institution, it's a no brainier. They also offer 10 weeks paid maternity for benefited employees, which is amazing!
I believe the accrued PTO schedule could be adjusted, but besides that I feel we have a great benefits package as well as corporate discounts for local businesses.
Northwestern has a great benefits package. I have worked in several other hospitals, but none compare to Northwestern.
The best thing about the benefits package offered that makes it so ideal and competitive compared to other employers is in addition to low costs for great health insurance coverage- additionally they offer discounted rates when used for NM affiliated physicians and care.
The health insurance is pretty great, but only if you stay within the Northwestern Medicine network. Expect to pay a lot more if you see a physician outside this network. As of Jan 2019, NM offers paid maternity & parental leave for employees (moms and dads) with newborns or adopted children. They also offer educational assistance after 6 months, paying towards student loans. 401K matching up to 6%. Okay PTO policy, more hours than I received at my prior workplaces.
health insurance, matches 6% in 401k
Competitive salary. Poor non-clinical, business leadership!
Great nothing to comment on
