“Health insurance is affordable and the options available are easy to understand.”
“Best thing is that they have instituted a winter recess between Christmas and new year’s when campus mostly shuts down and everyone has days off that do not count toward vacation bank. ”
“Many local discounts with wildcard”
Nice health insurance, 5% + 5%max matching 401k if self contributing 5%, 3 weeks PTO
Northwestern offers both matching retirement contributions and automatic retirement contributions to staff.
Best benefit package you can find these days
Excellent benefits, including pre-tax retirement and HSA contributions (with high-deductible plan), commuter benefits, and tuition discount for employees. Tuition discount is currently 90% for full-time, eligible employees.
Health insurance is the only benefit available to me.
Great health insurance options available.
Good health insurance and decent retirement savings plan. Good internal professional development options, including some select programs that feature professors from Kellogg and other schools.
Typical benefits, a bit more on holiday and PTO
Great medical benefits, insurance package, commuter benefits, etc.
The best thing is the 10% retirement contribution from the University, but they suspended it from May 2020 until January 2021 and it really shook employees' confidence that they will maintain it going forward.
