The health insurance and 401k match programs are unparalleled by any other job I have held. The benefits package overall, including tuition reciprocity for dependents, is outstanding.
Generous 401k match and paid time off is reasonable!
I am limited to <50% (part time) Research Faculty in order to work on SBIR projects for a small business. Strictly speaking there are no benefits from Northwestern for less than 50% employment. However, Northwestern still lets you contribute to a 403b (no employer match). They also offer a subsidized Affordable Care Act (ACA) Value health insurance plan (HDHP) for a very reasonable fee (~$100/mo for single, no dependents).
Great benefits, match program regarding 403B contributions, health benefits are incredible and it's extremely convenient to utilize the on-sight physician practices while working during the week
Working at the university gets you coverage for one of the best medical systems in the country. you actually get a discount if you use Northwestern hospitals as your provider. Also has one of the most generous 401k matches I've ever seen.
Has holidays off (but be careful and look at the dates carefully before accepting) and good health and dental insurance. Tuition benefits aren't worth it. Some benefits are also limited based on length of service which is unforunate.
Great overall benefits. Retirement match is fantastic.
From experience, best retirement plan (403b) ever!
great company, thank you for the amazing opportunity, this is amazing. it is a great opportunity.
Worked as a temporary employee so didn't have benefits
