They provide you with vacation and time off. I worked part time so I really didn't take any times off, but i had some coworkers that were happy about it.

They have sick time but most employees don’t call in. You are written up for calling in after a few times.

The vacation and PTO is great. You accrue "flex time" every payday. You start out earning 7 hours a pay period and max out at 14 hours after 20 years. The great thing is is rolls over every year and you can save it up until you max out at 600 hours. You can cash in up to 100 hours for an extra check at the end of each year. (this works great because it comes right before Christmas!) Depending on the department, most schedules are made 6 weeks in advance and you must plan your time off withing in that time frame.
