Sustainability and Paid Time Off
Has recently switched from BCBS to United Health Care with no changes to coverage (that I've found yet). I use the HSA plan for me and my family and have never had a problem. Employer contributes to your HSA. 401k option is nice and is managed well. Employer matches some percentage in contributions. Some employees have stock options that depend on employee tenure and how well the company does. Yearly bonuses based on employee performance and company performance. Flexible work hours, depending on department. Average 4 weeks of vacation, 12 paid vacation days, and 80 hours of sick time. Onsite access to heathcare professionals (nurses, doctors, councilors, and massage therapist). Overall, nice benefits package.
Employees are able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate preferences and lifestyles.
Novozymes' benefits package took a major turn for the worse. They are now using off-brand health insurance provider with poor spouse/child coverage (but our premiums still went up this year!). Salaries are not competitive for area or industry (e.g. competitors). Raises continue to be below inflation for most. Minimal opportunities for professional development.
PTO, Sick Time, 401K, stock options, health package are all great compared to others.
Generally good benefits but used to be better. Great medical plan. Benefits at the US facility are not as good as at the Danish facility.
good performing funds to choose from. Nice employer match for 401K. Start with 3 weeks vacation and add a week every 5 years of employment, maxing at 5 weeks. They promote conference attendance.
Great insurance, good vacation and floating holidays, get to take birthday off, 401k matching program, onsite gym - small one but nice to have, maternity leave, lots of free lunch, work from home, work like balance
Four weeks vacation, generous Medical plan, generous 401k program with up to 9% match, on site canteen, stock option plan is meager and below industry standard
Poor fund selection. Match is lump sum eoy not each paycheck. Cost employee huge in long term. Euro greed is big here. Americans are second class citizens compared to Danes.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
