Cigna health, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, and weekly salary bonus on average of 50% thru 150%.
The 401k is not all that good but they do have option to invest in stocks. Health card is decent too.
Extremely stable company. You’re not micromanaged and you’re allowed to make decisions. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed.
Nucor has fairly decent health insurance. The dental insurance could be better and they offer no vision insurance.
Total compensation is strong, especially for those who are not afraid of hard work. Medical is average at best.
Good perks. Vacation time is not great, but industry standard. The culture is interesting, but not bad. If you want move around to different locations, when positions open, Nucor is a great place to be.
Best thing: End of year bonus Worst things: Vacation/maternity leave/PTO is very poor and the health insurance is expensive for what little they provide. You get a 401k and the match isn't great, but they do put some of the profit sharing into your 401k at the end of the year. This is great while the company is making money, but not great if they start to slow down.
401k, ROA bonus, profit sharing are all very good employment benefits.
They could do better with contribution to 401k and healthcare
Great benefits package, Time off is decent, could be a little better.
