One of the perks is getting holiday pay, and vacation, personal, and sick pay. The sick pay does not get taken away if you do not lose it, it goes in sick pay bank.
They refuse and fight to give you benefit. They do not want you to have a paid vacation.
The best thing is that they do have competent health insurance coverage, which is taken right out of your paycheck, and is useful for situations in which you might have hospital bills and ER visits.
