Pension offered and 17 days Pto
The benefits here are the best any company will offer. Can't beat medical, dental & vision for $40.00/month, same price monthly whether it's just the employee or the employee with their husband and 10 kids. It will still only be $40.00/monthly. They offer 401K, no matching, but they offer it which is better than nothing. & Pension! You become Union when you come on board with OE.
Health insurance is very good quality with very low cost. No 401k match at all is a bummer but the promise of a pension is nice assuming it is able to pay out when I retire.
While the monthly cost is very low for the medical/dental/vision plan the co-insurance/co-pay can get a bit pricey depending on what you need to have done. At least on the medical side. Plan out procedures and set aside funds in the FSA account to off-set.
The benefits program is comprehensive and fairly priced. There is no out-of-pocket expense for program premiums (they are all covered by the employer). The health, dental and vision programs do have co-pays and/or deductibles, but that seems to be pretty standard now-a-days.
