The company provides a reasonable benefits package. They provide 4 hours of earned leave per pay period (2 weeks), and I recently found out that a co-worker has 6-hours per pay period. I was led to believe the military leave would be a little better than what it actually is - it's a process in which they will pay you according to what you earn with the military. As a simple example, if you earn $500 during "military leave", Oasis will pay you $500 less on your paycheck.
Low PTO and work/life balance
3% match for 401k, 60% match for health care, 3 weeks vacation that stops accruing after 120 hours. All benefits at the extreme low end of industry. Worst company I ever worked for.
The insurance premiums and deductibles were too high. Both went up two months after joining the company. Could no longer afford to take my family to the doctor even though I had insurance.
Oasis's medical actually covers you when your sick. Unlike the very high deductibles most DoD contractors must pay.
