They give you an allowance to purchase benefits, and if you don’t go over the difference is paid back to you. They have great options and a variety of price points
Hush money at least once a year.
Has great benefits on top of working for the government
Good benefits, but the price out of pocket keeps inching up every year. With the employee benefit allowance, it is still less than most non-government employers.
Oklahoma Department of Human Services
Oklahoma Department of Human Services is basically closing their eyes to so much happening. Child welfare work conditions are atrocious, allocations being swept under the rug. I don’t know how to change it. All I can do is watch these workers crumble and fall and beg their drs for FMLA so they can have a vacation because they are being denied vacations! What would you do?

Multiple options for insurance, vacation and sick time starts building immediately
Health insurance, 401K, Stability, Work from home, interagency transfers are relatively easy
Great benefit package with generous benefit allowance that covers most of the insurance.
Great time off, decent health benefits, and will match retirement contributions up to 7%.
Benefit allowance almost covers the cost of health insurance. You also get a ton of vacation and sick days. PTO builds up fairly quickly and what you do not use you can cash out if you leave the company.
Benefit package continues to increase without the current market benefit allowance increasing. Annual/sick leave are generous. Longevity is nice.
